About Us
Hi everyone! Welcome to our homestead. Since we have had several questions about what MT stands for I should explain, M is for Mike and T is for Terrie.... also, it is a play on words, MT = Empty as in Empty nesters, as all of our children are grown and are no longer living at home. Mike is retired military and is still working for the US government helping with services for our soldiers. We most recently were living abroad in South Korea and just moved back to the states in August of 2020. Before coming back we had been watching several homestead channels on YouTube and had decided that we wanted to live the "homestead" life and start our own personal vlog. We also wanted to find our forever home and when we got here, we did just that. We don't have a huge property but it is big enough for us, our dogs, our chickens (now up to 30 and 2 turkeys) and a few more things in the works.

Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association
We are an Association of Combat Veterans from all branches of the United States Armed Forces who ride motorcycles as a hobby. As a registered 501(c)(19) veterans’ charity, our mission is to support and protect those who have defended our country and our freedoms. Our focus is to provide assistance and help to individual veterans, veteran care facilities, other veteran organizations and registered charities. We sponsor and participate in many veteran-related motorcycle (and other) charity events each year, and as a non-profit organization, donate to various veteran causes.
